Venecia Margarita, MSW, ASW, Teen Counselor
Venecia Margarita has over 15 years of
experience working with youth in a variety of settings. Ms. Margarita was one of
the first Residential Counselors to participate in the opening of the first county funded Level
14 Group Homes in the state of California, Canyon Oaks Youth Center, run by San Mateo County
Mental Health. As part of the Círculo de Vida staff, she facilitates a group for teens with a
parent living with cancer. In addition to her work with Círculo de Vida, Ms. Margarita works
as an Emergency Response Social Worker with Children and Family Services of San Mateo County.
She has also worked with Mujeres Unidas y Activas where she helped in developing Muchachitas Activas, a youth group for young
women focused on empowerment and leadership. Ms. Margarita was recipient of the Danny
Keenan Award for her long term commitment and passion in working with youth in the bay area.
She was also featured in the San Francisco Examiner by former San Francisco Mayor, Gavin Newsom,
for her outstanding resilience and dedication.
Meredith Reddoch-Ho, Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
Meredith Reddoch-Ho has 6 years of
experience working with the chronically and severely mentally ill
providing psychotherapy and case management. As part of the Círculo
de Vida staff she runs a support group for children ages 3-5.
Ms. Reddoch-Ho has experience counseling adults, couples,
families and young children. She also has experience working with children
in an educational setting as a former preschool teacher.
Alphonso Luis Carrillo, Accountant
Alphonso Luis Carrillo received his Public Accountant degree at the University of Central Colombia.
Mr. Carrillo worked for ten years with the Fundación Social in Colombia,
and has vast experience in various financial settings, such as health, banking, hotel, insurance, and with non-profit
organizations among others.
